So you ask yourself how can we help?

There are many ways that you can help the rescue. We are in constant need of volunteers who would like to donate time or money to help these malamutes.
If adopting a malamute is not quite what you had in mind, but you still feel you need to help these magnificent animals. You might want to consider being a foster parent. Becoming a foster parent means you would temperarly look after one of our malamutes until a perminant home can be found. Typically there are two forms of fostering, short term and long term. Being a foster parent is importent to the rescue because it allows us to cuntinue to rescue more dogs into our system.

Become a Volunteer
So you can't adopt, fostering is out of the question and you still feel compelled to help these gentle giants. There is another way you can help and that is becoming a volunteer. There are many aspets to the help and rescue that you can donate your time toward. For starters you can help in placement of the dogs by doing home inspections for poteltial adoptions. You can also assist is breed identification. There is always need for someone to help transport the rescued dogs to foster and adoptive parents. We also frequently participate in fund raisers and can always use a helping hand tending booths or other activities, even clerical help for e-mail replies or record-keeping.
Donate Money or supplies
You are unable to adopt or foster one of our Malamutes and you are very limmited on time but you feel the need to help in our rescue efforts. We can also accept your donations. The Florida Malamute Help and Rescue is a non-profit organization and there for all costs for boarding, vetinary, food and other upkeep are funded soley on generious peoples donations.
