Hello, my name is Mischa! I am just about a year old and am still very much a puppy.  I know my basic commands and I follow directions well (when I am calm) but when I am excited all bets are off. I LOVE to play and if you give me a decent size ball I will kick it around the yard.  I love to snuggle and attention from my people. I am very friendly with other dogs and am usually submissive (but I haven’t been extensively tested so I don’t know if I am ALWAYS submissive).  I like cats, I just don’t always respect their decision to be left alone….I just want to play.  I am very shy around strangers and will try to hide from them, just give me time to warm up.  I do get a little rough sometimes when I play, I don’t bite but I may hit you with my nose or teeth when I turn my head.  I do have a bit of separation anxiety, okay so more than a bit. I am okay for short periods, out to dinner, running errands things like that – I just don’t like being left for long periods.  I would love to have someone who is home most of the day. I am fascinated with small children but I haven’t been around them much so I may unintentionally hurt them while playing so I am probably better to have with older children.  I am house broken, unless you have a porch then I may leave a puddle there. I like to bury bones and toys to keep them safe, so beware of holes if I’m around.  I love to take walks and to play chase, I really love being chased.  But my favorite thing of all is to hang out with my people.
